KDFA 3rd Kohima District Futsal Championship

Kohima, May 29 (MExN): The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) will be holding 3rd Edition of the Kohima District Futsal Championship on May 30 at Mez & Co. Sports Arena, below Medical College, P. Khel, Kohima.The Championship, commencing at 9:00 AM, will be kicked off by Khriesazo Liezietsu, president Northern Angami Youth Organization. The closing ceremony will be graced by Neikeso Zumu, president Northern Angami Sports Association.The tournament will be conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis to provide participating teams with more competitive matches and greater exposure during the championship.The champion will receive a cash prize of Rs 20,000 along with a trophy and citation, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs 15,000 along with a trophy and citation. The two losing semi-finalists will receive Rs 5,000 each.Individual awards will also be presented to the Best Goalkeeper, Top Scorer, and Player of the Tournament.The winners of the championship will represent the district at the Nagaland Futsal Championship.
