The Nagaland Government has ordered the transfer, posting, and retention of several IAS and NCS officers with immediate effect. This move is aimed at serving the public interest.The Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (Personnel ‘A’ Branch) issued notifications for the transfers and postings. V. Shashank Shekhar, IAS, has been relieved of his position as Director General, ATI, and designate of the Law & Justice Department. Anoop Khinchi, IAS, will continue to hold the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Law & Justice Department. Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS, will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Environment, Forest & Climate Change Department.Akumla Chuba, IAS, has been retained as Commissioner & Secretary, Horticulture Department. Angelina Tajen, IAS, has been retained as Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services Department. Akunu S. Meyase, IAS, has been retained as Secretary, Economics & Statistics Department. She will also hold the additional charge of Parliamentary Affairs Department and has been relieved of her position as Director, ATI.Temjensangla, an NCS officer, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Lokayukta. Tiameren Chang, Secretary, Lokayukta (designate), has been posted as Joint Secretary, Youth Resources & Sports, with additional charge of Managing Director, NBDA.The government has also ordered the transfer and posting of several NCS officers across various districts and departments. Chumlamo Humtsoe, ADC, Satakha, has been posted as ADC, Seyochung. James T. Khulu Tikhir, ADC, Seyochung, has been transferred as ADC, Pughoboto. Meyazungba Jamir, ADC, Pughoboto, has been posted as ADC, Satakha.Selemla S. Sangtam, SDO (C), Medziphema, has been transferred as SDO (C), Mokokchung. Nockpai Konyak, SDO (C), Mokokchung, has been posted as Under Secretary, Environment, Forest & Climate Change Department. Wanmei C. Phom, Under Secretary, Home Department, has been transferred as SDO (C), Meluri. Nukshimatong, SDO (C), Tuli, has been posted as SDO (C), Chen.Additional charges have been assigned to several officers, including Kikato K. Chishi, ADC, Aghunato, who will also serve as EAC, Asuto; Dr Samuel Akho Konyak P, EAC, Atoizu, who will hold additional charge of EAC, Akuhaito; and Dr Zujanbeni N. Ngullie, EAC, Tuensang, who will additionally serve as EAC, Ngongchung. Mhathung Ngullie, EAC, Aghunato (designate), has been transferred as EAC, Alongkima. Kathyinla, EAC, Alongkima (designate), has been retained as EAC, Aghunato with additional charge of EAC, Hoshepu.
