NPF Kiphire Divisional Unit Meeting Discusses Party Unity and Developmental Strategies

Kiphire, May 29 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Kiphire Divisional Unit held a consultative meeting at the Multi-purpose Hall in Pungro Town on May 28. Party leaders and workers discussed contemporary political issues, party unity, and future developmental strategies.The meeting was attended by divisional party officials, office bearers from 59 Sitimi-Seyochung and 60 Pungro-Kiphire Assembly Constituencies, and village unit representatives. K Lendila Agnes, Working President of the Women Wing, Divisional Unit Kiphire, chaired the programme.Resangla Susana, President of the Women Wing, Divisional Unit Kiphire, delivered the keynote address. Yangtsali, President of Area Unit 59/AC, Khamong, President of Area Unit 60/AC, Tsaseto Sangtam, President of NPF Kiphire Divisional Unit, and Throngkila, Vice President of the Central Women Wing, also gave short speeches.Khamong spoke about the reported NDPP-NPF merger, stating that it is not about one party absorbing another but about working together with shared ideologies, energies, and responsibilities. He emphasized the need for a unified voice to advocate for the people of Nagaland.S Kiusumew Yimchunger, NPF legislator and Advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Relief & Rehabilitation, stressed the importance of strengthening the party’s regional foundation and maintaining close ties with grassroots workers. He urged party workers to avoid political bias based on tribe, religion, or clan and reaffirm their commitment to the foundational pillars of the NPF.The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Y Khiutsithong, Working President, Divisional Unit Kiphire, followed by a mass prayer for peace, prosperity, and unity across Naga-inhabited areas.
